Production process of hot-rolled steel balls

Hot rolled steel balls are a new technology for rolling steel balls, which is a breakthrough in ball milling production and is gradually replacing cast steel balls. Today we will take a detailed look at the process flow of hot-rolled steel balls. First, inspect the round steel used to make hot-rolled steel balls. After inspection, cut the round steel into a certain length and cut it into hot-rolled steel ball bars according to the required length. Heat the cut bar material to the appropriate temperature in a continuous heating furnace and turn it red. After feeding the bar material into the steel ball rolling mill, a special spiral process is used to rotate it forward between two rolls using stainless steel balls, and then continuously roll it into steel balls. Each ball mill can roll once per minute, producing around 60-360 steel balls; After rolling forming, the hot-rolled steel balls immediately enter a specially designed online heat treatment equipment for quenching tempering heat treatment, so that the steel balls can obtain high and uniform hardness. After cooling, it can be checked whether it is qualified. Qualified products are sent to the finished goods warehouse, packaged, and sent to customers.
Hot rolled steel balls have precise dimensions, smooth geometric shapes, high hardness, good mechanical properties, and excellent wear resistance, without deformation or cracking. Its characteristics are as follows:
1. High overall hardness: surface hardness can reach 55-65HRC, volume hardness can reach 50-62HRC, and the hardness gradient distribution is uniform;
2. High impact toughness: Impact toughness greater than 12J/cm2;
3. Low crushing rate: The anti stripping and crushing performance is more than 10 times that of ordinary cast steel balls and forged steel balls, and the impact force of falling balls is more than 20000 times. The actual crushing rate does not exceed 1%, and there is almost no crushing.
